Resources

This list of resources includes many sites and pages which I find particularly helpful for both aspiring coders and certified working coders alike.

I've sorted the list into categories to make it easier to use.

ICD-10-CM Implementation

Dr. Gily's ICD-10-CM Code Look-up Tool - This site is basically a big database of revision 9 and 10 codes. If you need to translate between the two revisions or look-up certain codes this site will help a ton.

Continuing Education

The AAPC Approved CEU Vendor List - Every certified coder needs to complete continuing education units (CEUs) every couple years to keep their certification active. There are many ways to complete CEUs but if you choose to go through a vendor check this list to make sure they are approved.

AAPC Conferences - Each conference, be it national or regional, is full of workshops and presentations which can provide networking opportunities for you as well as CEUs. It's good to participate in these conferences for many reasons so make sure to check out this page as you make your travel plans.
